I disagree. I don’t think u should measure her success or who knows her based on everyone u have asked. A better way is to look at the millions of views she has on youtube and myspace which will attest to the fact that MILLIONS of people know who she is or they wouldn’t be viewing. Secondly, all entertainers have a “gimmick” if u want to call it that. They use this to gain attention and had she not used it u probably wouldn’t be posting about her. No matter what she uses she still has talent.

Every generation of hip hop borrows from it’s predecessors, it’s been around too long not too. This doesn’t mean the artist doesn’t have their own talent or something new to offer.
